The Ontology Engineering Group (OEG) at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) is collecting applications to cover one position to develop web applications (backend+frontend) and support in research tasks.
The position is associated with the H2020 European funded research project Lynx: Building the Legal Knowledge Graph for Smart Compliance Services in Multilingual Europe (http://www.lynx-project.eu/).
SkillsCandidates should have degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Experience in Knowledge Engineering, Linked Data and/or Computational Linguistics is a distinct advantage.

UPM is the largest Spanish technological university as well as a renowned European institution. The OEG has been working on the provision of semantic infrastructure since 1995. The OEG is in the 8th position in the ranking of UPM research groups. It is composed of 30 researchers with a consolidated reputation in the fields of Ontological Engineering, Data Integration, Linked Open Data, Semantic Web, Computational Linguistics and Semantic e-Science. The OEG has so far participated in 27 European projects, coordinating 7 of them.
BenefitsA contract will be offered for an initial period of 2 years, and the salary will range from EUR 31.000 to EUR 35.000 (commesurate with qualifications and experience).
