Idafen Santana Pérez is a PhD Researcher at the Ontology Engineering Group. He received the MSc degree in Complex Software Systems in 2010, at at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, and a degree in Computer Science from Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria(2008) awarded for the second best academic record.
From 2011 to 2015, he held a FPU scholarship at the Artificial Intelligence Department of the Computer Science (2012).
He got the PhD degree in Artificial Intelligence in 2016 at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, with a thesis entitled Conservation of Computational Scientific Execution Environments for Workflow-based Experiments Using Ontologies.
Currently developing and mantaining the WICUS (Workflow Infrastructure Conservation Using Semantics) ontology network, which I developed as part of my thesis. The WICUS ontology network is a set of ontologies, designed to represent the information about the computational infrastructure involved on the execution of computational scientific experiments. Also developing and mantainig AR2DTool, a tool for generating Graphml and DOT diagrams from RDF files.
