mIO!

logo mio pequeo

mIO! (Tecnologías para prestar servicios en movilidad en el futuro universo inteligente) aims to provide technologies capable of supplying ubiquitous services in an intelligent environment. These technologies will be able to adapt themselves to everybody and to its context. Such technologies will use as the main interaction basis the mobile terminal with both (micro)-services provided by companies and (micro)-services created and provided by the mobile users.

Thus, the main objective of the mIO! project is to allow that the user by means of his mobile device is able to interact with both available services and services created and provided by himself.

For further information about the mIO! project visit the official project’s web.

OEG Role in mIO!

OEG is involved in the development of ontologies that model the knowledge about context. These ontologies will be used to adapt the performance of a service based on the user situation. Knowledge about the context refers both to the user (localization, room temperature, preferences, social information, etc.) and to the service (availability, cost, etc.).

OEG is also involved in providing and reviewing the possible use scenarios in the project.
